New Zealand AgriFood Week is an important cog in the New Zealand primary industry machine.
It is the only week-long extravaganza dedicated to celebrating, showcasing and developing the primary food production on New Zealand soil.
More than ten events are hosted within the week, with something for everyone, from farmers and growers, researchers and scientists, industry leaders, innovators, marketers and communication specialists, to secondary school students interested in a career in the sector, and foodies who want to enjoy the produce grown on our land.
The week’s theme is Transforming Food Producers for the Future, with key events including the Microsoft AgTech Hackathon, Perspective 2025, Plate of Origin and Future Leaders. Other conferences include Sheep Milk NZ and Future Farms. The purpose is to host a national forum to connect, discover, and lead the growth of the country’s primary industries.
