Future Leaders 2018 will focus on how the primary industries can continue to attract new skills and talent into its workforce and develop the next generation of industry leaders. Hear from emerging and established executive level leaders on how the industry should best to do this, in this half-day event.

Our speakers:

Tim van de Molen, National MP for Waikato, with a background in farming.

Richard Hegan, ASB General Manager Rural Banking.

Erin Atkinson, Horticulture New Zealand Young Grower 2017 and manages the Orchard Management division for Apata Group, a post-harvest service supplier for the kiwifruit and avocado industries.

Nicholas Bailey was named the Dairy Trainee of the Year 2016 and currently manages a 750 cow dairy farm in Danniverke.

William Robertson grew up on a dairy farm in the heart of Waikato and is currently studying towards a Bachelor of AgriCommerce majoring in International Agribusiness at Massey University.

Abby Cook is a Y13 student at St Peters School Cambridge who grew up farming, but is yet to decide on whether a future career in agriculture is for her.
